Inspirations for Your Daily Routines
Daily routines are important because they allow me to advance skills, mindsets and states I want to bring into my life without having to think too much about how and when to do it. If something is important to I give it a place in my daily/weekly/monthly/yearly plan and make it a routine.
I update this list as I continue to find inspiring ideas about how to set up routines that help me flourish. On the specifics I will write in following posts which I will link to this page.
Morning Routines
- NSDR upon waking
- Physical exercise
Make a weekly plan to make sure to get in both cardiovascular as well as resistance training. I found that when I do this in the morning I am alert throughout the rest of the day and I do it regularly instead of facing difficulties to arrange for it in the afternoon.
- Cold shower
Evening routines
- Plan your day/week/month/year
Based on whether its a Sunday, end of month or end of year I plan. Why? Because it‘s the most powerful thing you can do if done right.
- Journal
I do this using specific prompts helping me to focus on the pleasant, meaningful moments and skills I want to advance.
- Read
I make sure to have a collection of books about a diverse range of topics I am curious about. At the time of writing this post the books next to my reading spot include “The confident mind“, “Rework“, “Supercommunicators“, “Mastery“ among others.
Have a great day :)
